Sonic the blue armed hedgehog

"DAFUQISTAHT?!!??!! "  was my reaction when i saw blue arms on the new design for Sonic  in Sonic BOOM. Getting Green eyes was for sure a small detail after all (even if lots of fake sonic fans have been complaining about that) but blue arms.... ??? Can a mario fan guess how he will feel if mario had a redesign with red gloves instead of white ones?  then afetr discovering after the blue arms, it reminded me of that ugly dvd cover for AOSTH, that was obviously made by someone that didn't know who he was drawing ^^
