Ahah, maybe i should REALLY work with Sonic Team as i seem to have the same kind of ideas XD. All of those skecthes were drawn before sonic lost world was released or even discussed, which means it could not have inspired them! ^^
The badnik owl i made is supposed to launch like a rocket when sonic approches , disappear form the screen and then fall down on sonic( a bit like sonic 2 finall boss who take off then try to crash on sonic ^^). the flower badnik is a bit different from the sonic lost world trap: mine could be destroy by avoiding its head and hiting its base.
For the eggman face, it's like SEGA saw my sketch but thought " cool idea... but too scary, let's keep half of his mustache" ^^.
The UFO i made is supposed to be a badnik that take sonic away and then release him on a trap, or throw a laser beam at him, whereas in lost world, it's a RC bonus!

Welcome to the club. I somehow predicted elements from Sonic Rush, Sonic '06, Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sonic and the Black Knight, Sonic Unleashed, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Riders, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, and a tad of Sonic Boom and Sonic Colors.

To tell you about myself, I have been a Sonic fan around the time of Sonic Adventure, and I have been making tons of Sonic fan characters, villains, and concepts even before I came to dA in 2005. I always tried to think outside of the box for my designs, seeing that my first Sonic fan character was a Dolphin named Waves instead of a hedgehog, fox, or echidna, but later on I refined my ideas so they wouldn't be too outlandish. I just liked making characters and monsters, so I wanted to make ones that might fit with the universe.

Around Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2, I thought of the Crystals of Light and the Spectrum Crystal. I didn't want to use the Chaos Emeralds for everything in my stories since they are already taken up by Sonic and the gang. I was going to introduce them in Sonic Wave and then go on from there to have them play a big role in my fan characters' stories. These are an alternate universe version of the Chaos Emeralds. They were stolen by aliens from Sonic's own universe known as the Kabonans. The Kabonans are energy eaters who steal technology in order to leave their planetary system, and one of the things they they stole was a wormhole generator that allowed them to jump galaxies and universes. The guardian who protected the Crystals of Light and the Spectrum Crystals was overpowered by the energy eaters and reduced to a small bird. The guardian snuck on to the warship and before the Kabonans got back to their world, the Crystals were forced out of the Warship while inside the wormhole and the Crystals and the guardian made it to Sonic's world. The Kabonans went to Sonic's world to retrieve the Crystals and found that this world has new energy sources to get... the Chaos Emeralds and Master Emeralds. Thus the start of my first Sonic fan project called Sonic Wave.

Energy eating aliens who are after the Chaos Emeralds... then the game Shadow the Hedgehog come out with the concept of the Black Arms. Villain(s) who brought power sources that are alternate versions of the Chaos Emeralds to the world and the guardian follows them to get them back... then Sonic Rush come out with the Sol Emeralds and Blaze. I thought it odd, but I found the comics had aliens and alternate universes with their own version of the Chaos Emeralds, so I let it slide. Keep in mind that I didn't follow the comics for a long time and they didn't factor into the creation of these ideas, only justified them. However, each of the Crystals had their own powers and one of them, the Purple Mind Crystal, allowed for Telekinesis... the same power that Silver from Sonic '06 has. Then Sonic Colors come up with the Wisps, each of them having different powers. Their Hover Wisp vs my Fly Crystal and Boost from Sonic '06/Sonic Rush vs Blue Speed Crystal super speed. As far as oddly specific things go, the original form that the Crystals of Light gave Sonic was called Solar Sonic and it was associated with fire... like Burning Blaze... and Darkspine Sonic. Keep in mind the idea of the Crystals came around the Adventure Era and refined around Sonic Heroes, way before Sonic '06. Because of the form similarities and finding out that there was a Solar Sonic in the comics, I went with Omni Sonic and this is why that this form has flame hands.

It is not only the things from Sonic Wave that seemed to leak into the games. Around Sonic Adventure 2, I thought of a character named Quinn "Flip" the Penguin who was a snowboarder. Simple train of logic being inspired by Sonic's own snowboarding in SA and SA2 and the idea that penguins are associated with snow. A bird on a board... Then Sonic Riders come out and the Babylon Rogues are birds on hover boards and one of them is called Wave the Swallow. What? Okay...? I had to rename my dolphin character to Wake because of that sparrow. Waves fit better with one who, I don't know... produces waves? When I was looking though my characters inspired by ability typing of Sonic Heroes, one of my character teams was missing a Fly Type so I decided that Flip's board was able to, not only hover like the Extreme Gear from Sonic Riders, but transform into a flying board to help his teammates... Then Sonic Riders Zero Gravity happened and the boards can transform into other vehicles.

An idea I had around 2002 for the Kabonan's natural prey and planetary neighbors called the Quillians. These Hedgehog, Echidna, and Porcupine aliens had black antennas on their heads that allowed them to shock their enemies as well as communicate with each other through contact. Their planet Quill was much more interesting than the inhabitants in that it was a fragmented world that had temples all over it which kept the world together by the power of their artifacts, the Life Stones. This idea was inspired by Starfox Adventures and the temples themselves were designed like the ones in Sonic Adventure, but the Planet Quill would be in worst shape than Dinosaur Planet in that if the Life Stones were stolen, the world would split at the fault lines to the core and each segment would drift into space. This was caused by an unstable magical core. I made up this quality about Quill to give the Life Stones importance. Then Sonic Unleashed came out. Sonic's world splits the same way Quill did, and the Chaos Emeralds would have to go to temples in order to bring the world back together. And this is not getting into the forms the Life Stones gives you... which is armor... Like Sonic and the Black Knight's Excalibur Sonic. The idea of Quill was scrapped (mostly because of the unoriginal inhabitants and lack of motivation on working on a project past Sonic Unleashed) and the Life Stones sat there until I brought them up again for my recent projects.

This even started happening with my newest Sonic fan project and Sonic Boom with the both of us making up something called Cloud Sanctuary, again with me coming up with it years in advance. I know great minds think alike but this is ridiculous! It seems like my fan project life is all hilarious in hindsight.

Sorry for the rant, but I had to get it off my chest.
